Logan Paul’s last viral moment in WWE came at KSI’s expense at WrestleMania 39. Admittedly, this was one place the British YouTuber’s management team weren’t too keen on at first.

Since signing with WWE in 2022, there has been no shortage of viral clips of internet celebrity Logan Paul. From his jaw-dropping crash with Ricochet at the Royal Rumble to his Main Event Frog Splatter on Champion Roman Reignseach appearance certainly exploded on social media.

Looking to top his previous acts with another memorable streak at this year’s WrestleMania, WWE’s biggest event on the calendar, Paul once again took the first string. This time, however, it wasn’t another wrestler he crashed into. Rather, it was former boxing rival turned Prime Hydration co-founder KSI.

After masking his presence inside a giant Prime bottle costume, KSI emerged to a thunderous roar from the Los Angeles crowd. But while the two intended to overpower Seth Rollins, he was ultimately the last to laugh, well, to sneer, after Paul flew through the air and crashed into his business partner in another viral clip from the WWE.

Given the nature of the stunt, Paul quickly admitted in a follow-up episode of the Impaulsive podcast, that KSI’s management team weren’t thrilled with the idea at first. Especially considering how close he is to his next boxing match against Joe Fournier on May 13.

“When we came up with the idea to jump on the Prime bottle, I didn’t think it was going to be approved,” Paul said days before WWE’s historic event.

“I wasn’t sure if JJ would want to get physical,” co-host Mike Majlak said, to which Paul quickly agreed. “Me neither,” he joked.

“So when I pitched JJ and his team on Prime it was like ‘hey guys, I have this idea for a beverage company. They were like ‘yeah, that sounds pretty good.’ And pitch them [on WrestleMania] had a very similar reaction. “Hey, I know you have a boxing match next month, here’s the idea, you have to trust me.”

Not looking to jeopardize a huge payday for his nemesis-turned-friend KSI, Paul claimed he was indeed nervous when he shared the idea. But while KSI was immediately “ready for the cause” and excited about the idea, his manager didn’t share the enthusiasm.

“[KSI’s] the manager sends sweat emoticons saying ‘yeah I don’t think that’s gonna work’,” he recounted. Given the physics of the place, whoever saw Paul jump off the WWE ring top rope, crash into KSI, and then explode through a announce table, he was “worried [he] would really hurt him.

Logan Paul discusses the viral KSI moment at the 5:40 PM timestamp below.

“His boxing coach was like ‘I need to see this, I need to talk to [WWE], I have to make sure… I need outings, they were freaking out,” added Paul’s own manager, Jeff Levin. But even with those concerns, KSI was adamant this was a “one-time opportunity” he simply couldn’t pass up.

“He was so excited. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him this excited,” Paul said after the two headed back after their performance at WrestleMania.

For now, it looks like presenting KSI was a one-time deal with WWE, while Paul looks set to continue his run with some weird Premium Live Event feuds for months to come. So it would be wise not to expect any team action with the Prime founders any time soon.
